Sale Of Stamps
Stamps are issued for use with mail – whether parcels or letters. To qualify for a letters rate, the document must not exceed 2 kilogrammes.
Stamps used for postage usually form either definitive or commemorative sets. There are eighteen stamp denominations ranging in value from Five cents (5¢) to Ten Dollars ($10.00).
Definitive postage stamps depict some aspect of national life and remain in circulation for about five years. Commemorative stamps depict special events (e.g. the 150th Anniversary Issue) with approximately five or six denominations. These stamps are in circulation for a specific period.
